A Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Postoperative Anaesthesin-pain Syndrome In Protrusion Of Lumbar Intervertebal Disc By "BuShen HuoXue Tang"

Objective:In order to observe the clinical effect on the treatment of postoperative anaesthesin-pain syndrome in protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc by "BuShen HuoXue tang".Methods:80selected cases were all implemented with posterior lumbar decompression, bone fusion by Cage and internal fixation with pedicle screw system, suffering from anaesthesin-pain syndrome and divided into two groups randomly. After operations, treatment group were treated by "BuShen HuoXue tang", in addition to basic treatment including Mannitol and Dexamethasone by which compared group were treated. In two groups of protrusion of lumbar intervertebral discs, ODI and H-reflex were evaluated and SOD activity and NO level of the treatment group were measured before and after treatment.Results:①The effect of the treatment group was better than those in compared group after1month treatment(P<0.05), and there were no differences between the two groups6and12months after treatment.②After treatment, the result demonstrated changes of increased SOD activity and lowered NO level, all of which were in marked conditions. It was considered that effect on anaesthesin-pain syndrome might be not related to SOD activity.③In two groups of protrusion of lumbar intervertebral discs, the difference of H-reflex within a group was significant, being measured before operations and after the whole treatment of "BuShen HuoXue tang". The difference of H-reflex between two groups was also significant after the whole treatment of BuShen HuoXue tang".Conclusions:It proves that the treatment of "BuShen HuoXue tang" has an exact therapeutic effect on the syndrome and can improve the nerve role and relieve the pain in the waist and leg.
