Objective: To understand the types of drug eruptions and their causative agents in orderto help clinicians to diagnose and treat drug eruptions. Methods: A retrospective analysiswas carried out on the clinical date on all patients with drug eruption from January2007toDecember2010. Results: In this300patients82.7%specified for a sensitized drugs. Drugeruptions caused by penicillin were37cases. NSAIDs drug eruption induced by a total of43cases. Severe drug eruption24cases, which is caused by antiepileptic drugs andNSAIDs, respectively,9and5cases. Drug rash with severe drug eruptions induced byantiepileptic drugs (37.5%), Required for the treatment of GC controlled dose for80~120mg/d. Conclusion: Antibiotics,traditional Chinese medicine, proprietary Chinesemedicine class and NSAIDs are the most frequent causes of drug eruption. Severe drugeruptions are most often caused by anti-epilepsy drugs and NSAIDs. GC and activelypreventing complications are the key to treatment of severe drug eruptions when you focuson and appropriate.
