Clinical Study Of Niaotongkakenaiqi Tablets In Lower Urinary Tract Infection

Objective:To study the effect of Niaotongkakenaiqi tablets treatment for patients of low urinary tract infect ion (Stranguria syndrome-Damp-heat in lower-JIAO) and evaluate the efficacy and safety.Method:A randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, and positive parallel control clinical trial was adopted.76patients were enrolled,and due to the different drugs used in the test, we divided these patients into treatment group (n=56) and control group (n=20).The treatment group was treated with Niaotongkakenaiqi tablets and sanjin mimetic, while the control group treated with sanjin tablets and Niaotongkakenaiqi mimetic. The course of treatment was7days. Observe the change of scores of TCM syndromes and laboratory index, evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:1. The lower urinary tract infection efficacy of the two groups were compared. The cure rates of treatment group and control group were22.05%、21.88%respectively, the improvement rates were62.41%、60.62%respectively, the total improvement rates were84.46%、82.50%respectively, there is no statistically difference between two groups (P>0.05).2. The Chinese symptom efficacy of the two groups were compared. The clinical cure rates of treatment group and control group were25.00%、24.64%respectively, the effective rates were46.43%、44.57%respectively, the markedly effective rate were71.43%、69.21%respectively, the total effective rates were87.50%、86.64%respectively, there is no statistically difference between two groups (P>0.05).3. The treatment group was better on improving the scores of urine pain, blood in urine, urethral scorching and urethral pus or flow white than control group (P<0.05)4.Both of the treatment group and the control group can improve the urine routine and there is no statistically difference between two groups (P>0.05).5. Both of the treatment group and the control group can improve the urine bacterium and there is no statistically difference between two groups (P>0.05).6. The recurrence rate in the two groups was similar and there is no statistically difference between two groups (P>0.05).7. No obviously adverse effect was found in the clinical test.Conclusion:The clinical effects of Niaotongkakenaiqi tablets in treatment of low urinary tract infection (Stranguria syndrome-Damp-heat in lower-JIAO) is notable. Niaotongkakenaiqi tablets can improve clinical symptom and laboratory index significantly, improve the quality of life with no adverse effect. Niaotongkakenaiqi tablet is one of the efficacy and safety medicines for treating low urinary tract infection (Stranguria syndrome-Damp-heat in lower-JIAO) and has good effects on improving clinical symptom especially.
