Objective:Understanding the clinical practice nursing students occupation hazard status and influencing factors, evaluation the effect of nursing students occupation protection interventions, in order to reduce the nursing students’occupation harm and provide basis.Methods:In2010July-2011July in our hospital of Central South University and Changsha City First People’s Hospital of342practice nursing students as the study object. A self-designed questionnaire investigation, including five parts, nursing students’ general situation, nursing students’ occupation hazard, nursing students’ occupation protective attitude, nursing students’ occupation protection knowledge and nursing students’ self protection.3months before the end of clinical practice,the researchers unified questionnaire survey, remove invalid questionnaire. Serious analysis,correct evaluation of occupation hazards risk factors of nursing students in clinical practice, take nursing intervention measures.2months after the questionnaire, Comparison of before and after the intervention of nursing students’ occupation protective attitude, occupation protection knowledge and nursing students’ self protection change. All the data put into the computer, using SPSS13.0statistical software packages for statistical analysis. Result.1. This paper investigated the nursing students’ mechanical hazards, biological hazard, chemical hazards, physical hazards and psychological harm five occupation harm occurrence, mechanical damage rate in the first row(25.87%).2. Nursing students mechanical hazards in the first row is needle stab, the rest are ampoule cutting knife, scissors, injury, other sharp instrument injury. The level of education of the nursing students of needle stab incidence, ampoule cutting rate and other sharp instrument injury incidence rate difference has statistics difference (P<0.01and P <0.05), and technical secondary school degree nursing students had the highest incidence, respectively45%,35%and10%. Nursing students’ biological hazards in the first row is patients excrement splashes to the skin mucosa, followed by humoral, secretions, blood; the different education level nursing students on the patients blood, body fluid exposure rate difference has statistics significance (P<0.05); different degree nursing students in direct contact with the disinfectant occurrence difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); different degree nursing biological rational hazard occurs without statistical significance (P>0.05).3. Nursing students occupation hazards rate is not relationship with sex (P>0.05), but it associated with age, cultural degree, occupation protection training, pre-job skills training condition, whether the only child in the family, engaged in the nursing profession, choosing nursing reason and the student’ source (p<0.05). The8factors of nursing students occupation hazard consequence size ordinal for:occupation protection training> pre-job skills training condition> choose nursing professional reasons> education> the student’ source> whether the only child in the family> age> the relative engaged in the nursing profession.4. After the intervention, students on occupation protective attitude rate of correct answers, the occupation protection knowledge rate and occupation protection behaviors were significantly improved, compared with those before intervention were statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The nursing students occupation harm occurs at a higher rate, range is wide, with the highest incidence of mechanical hazards.2. Students receive less occupation protection training, occupation protection consciousness is dim, occupation protection knowledge related to serious inadequacy, short of protective ability.3. The hospital lack of enough protection facilities, equipment, not established perfect occupation hazard monitoring system and information management system. 4. Nursing students’ occupation harm factors including occupation protection traing、Pre-job skills training、choose nursing professional reasons, cultural degree, the source of students,whether the only child, age,the relative engaged in the nursing profession.5. Carry out occupation safety topics training, grant 《Occupation safety knowledge Handbook》、strengthen the protection skills training、provide protective equipment and other intervention measures,can promote nursing students occupation protection belief and attitude change, and ultimately influence its behavior, improve nursing students occupation protection knowledge level and protection ability.
