Effect Of Renewed Xuefuzhuyu Decoction On The Formation Of Aortic Plaque And The Imbalance Of Th1/Th2Cytokine In Atherosclerosis Rats

Objective： To observe the effect of Renewed Xuefuzhuyu Decoction on theformation of Aortic plaque and the imbalance of Th1/Th2Cytokine in AS rats,andresearch the mechanism of Renewed Xuefuzhuyu Decoction preventing AS.Methods：65SPF Wister male rats were randomly divided into five groups: Theblank group, model group, Chinese medicine in low dose group and high dose group,western medicine group. Except the blank group, other groups were made into AS modelby feeding high-fat diet and injecting vitamin D3into abdominal cavity. The drug wasgiven through irrigation stomach in each group. After8weeks,IFN-r、IL-4in serum wasmeasured by using ELISA, then the ratio of IFN-r/IL-4will be calculated. The intima andmedia thickness of Thoracic aortic was measured through Microscope, and then observethe change of Thoracic aortic pathology through microscope.Result： Xuefuzhuyu Decoction can decrease the thickness of the intima and mediaof Thoracic aortic,can improve the Aortic pathology. Campared with the model group,thecontent of IFN-r in serum was reduced, and IFN-r in serum was increased. the function ofTh1/Th2cell offset to the Th2.Conclusion： Renewed XuefuZhuyu Decoction can inhibit the immuneinflammatory reaction in AS, prevent the formation of AS though regulating the functionimbalance of Th1/Th2cell.
