Clinical Study On Treatment Of Hypertension Of Deficiency Of Both Yin And Yang Syndrome With Wenyangyishen Decoction

Objective: To observe the value of Wenyangyishen Decoction in treatment ofhypertension of deficiency of both yin and yang syndrome.Methods：Patients with hypertension that met the inclusion criteria were divided intotwo groups randomly in the clinical studies, with each group containing30cases. Patientsin the control group were treated with oral western medicine Losartan, while patients intreatment group are treated with Wenyangyishen Decoction and oral western medicineLosartan. The treatment of two groups lasted4weeks, continuous application of the fourcourses. Observed the improvement about main clinical symptoms of patients before andafter treatment, and ECG, and measure changes in blood pressure, the three conventional,electrolytes， lipids and other indicators.Results: By the clinical study, it is found that Wenyangyishen Decoction cansignificantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs. There are significant differencesbetween the two groups（P＜0.05).Compared the efficacy of hypertension treatment groupwith that of control group, there was no significant difference（P＞0.05).Conclusions：Wenyangyishen Decoction can greatly improve the clinical symptoms,and reduce the degree of dizziness, headache, backache and knees soft, aversion to cold,palpitations, short of breath, etc.
