Retrospective Analyses On63Western-Chinese Combination Treatments For Herpes Zoster

Objective:This thesis analyzes patients with herpes zoster in Shandong provincialHospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine so as to summarize the frequently-occurringseason, inducing factors and pathogenic sites of herpes zoster, and provide reference forfurther optimizing Chinese and Western medical treatment for herpes zoster.Methods:63Patients qualified for this retrospective case study were divided into twoage groups for further researeh:31Patients in young-middle aged group(28yearsold≤age<60years old) and32patients in middle-elder aged group(60years old≤age≤88years old).A comparative study between the two groups is made through observinginformation on frequently-occurring season,inducing factors,course of disease,pathogenicsites and treat with traditional Chinese and Western medicine as well as comparing efficacyand extinctive time of pain between the two groups.Results:No significant differences were found between the two groups in terms ofchoice such as syndrome differentiation upon hospitalization,taking ChineseMedicine,drugs for external use,antiviral drugs,analgesics,neurotrophic drugs andimmunomodulating drugs,but glucocorticoids.No significant differences were foundbetween the two groups in efficacy,extinctive time of pain and the time of herpesdisappearing.Conclusion:The Western-Chinese combination treatments adopted to various type ofpatients with herpes zoster,good efficacy and short course,This is the first time tosummarize effect and Chinese and Western medicine daily diagnosis since the skin familiesward of our hospital established,and provide reference for further optimizing Chineseand Western medical treatment for herpes zoster.
