Acupuncture Treatment Of Pseudobulbar Paralysis After Stroke Clinical Research

Objective:Observing the acupuncture treatment of pseudobulbar paralysis after stroke clinical research.Methods:In this study,60cases met the inclusion criteria, patients were randomly divided into treatment group (n=30) and control group (n=30).30cases in control group were given the conventional treatment of stroke;30cases of treatment group were treated by acupuncture which were based on the treatment of the control group, one week for a course, a total of three courses. The Furlong Cai Gou yin Handicap Assessment Method and low-lying Tian water drinking test were used to evaluation the efficacy between before and after treatment.Results:1. The clinical efficacy of pseudo bulbar palsy after stroke which was treated by acupuncture, According to evaluation given by the Furlong Cai Gou yin Handicap Assessment Method and low-lying Tian water drinking test, compare with before and after treatment in treatment group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01); compare with before and after treatment in control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); The treatment group and the control group after treatment were compared, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)2. After treatment, In the assessment of speech function, the total efficiency of the treatment group and control group were93.33%and76.67%, there was significant difference between two groups (P0.05). On the assessment of the drinking water test, the total efficiency of the treatment group and control group were96.67%and83.33%, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion: 1、Acupuncture treatment of pseudobulbar paralysis after stroke in improving their language function is superior to single drug treatment group.2、Acupuncture treatment of pseudobulbar paralysis after stroke in improving their language function is superior to single drug treatment group.3、Acupuncture treatment of pseudobulbar paralysis after stroke in the total efficiency was obviously better than drug therapy.4、Acupuncture treatment of pseudobulbar paralysis after stroke is a safe and effective method.
