Scalp Acupuncture In Combination With Antagonistic Acupuncture Improving Upper Limb Spasticity After Stroke Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe the effect of scalp acupuncture combined with antagonistic acupuncture improving upper extremity spasticity of stroke sequela curative effect, and to discuss its mechanism of action, as sequelae of stroke upper-limb spasticity treatment provides a new thinking and new method.Methods:This study collected met the inclusion criteria of stroke hemiplegia spasm in60cases, in accordance with the simple random divided into two groups:treatment group was treated by scalp acupuncture combined with antagonistic Acupuncture Acupuncture therapy; the control group used the traditional routine acupuncture method for acupuncture treatment,30cases in the treatment group and30cases in the control group, two groups were treated daily1once a week, for6times, the rest1day,2week for a course of treatment,2consecutive courses.After2courses of treatment with modified Ashworth scale muscle tension scoring method (MAS), the simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score (SFMA) and improved the ability of daily life of assessment (ADL) score evaluation method before and after treatment of ipsilateral spasticity, motor function and ability of daily living.Results:the clinical observation showed that the antagonistic acupuncture and scalp acupuncture in combination with conventional acupuncture treatment can markedly improve the modified Ashworth spasm, simplified Fugl-Meyer grading integral integral of motor function, daily life ability evaluation (ADL) score.In two groups before and after treatment in the groups had significant difference (P<0.05).Before treatment between two groups have no significant difference (P>0.05), after treatment between two groups with significant difference (P<0.05), that of scalp acupuncture combined with antagonistic acupuncture group in improving muscle spasticity, motor function and ability of daily life, improve the degree is better than the conventional acupuncture 1group.After treatment of the upper extremity Fugl-Meyer integral comparison, display in improving spasticity treatment group improved better than that of the control group (P<0.05).The rank sum test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), prompt treatment group on patients with spasticity is better than that of control group.2On the improvement of limb movement function, the rank sum test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), prompt treatment group of limb movement function of the patients with better effect than the control group.3On improving the ability of daily life, the rank sum test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the treatment group in improving daily life ability improvement than the control group.Conclusion:1scalp acupuncture combination of antagonistic acupuncture may be effective in relieving spasm,2promote the paretic limb motor function recovery, improve the ability of daily life.
