The article adopt "antagonistic acupuncture" to improve spasticity after apoplexy. This method can improve and treat flexible myospasm of upper limbs, straight myospasm of lower limbs, flexion and contracture of fingers, foot drop and strephenopodia. The experiment adopt international Asthworth table and dysfunction of apoplexy evaluate table (SIAS) to carry the therapeutic evaluation. "Antagonistic acupuncture" is to acupuncture the antagonistic muscle of the spastic muscle, make it contract rhythmly with the stimulation of electric acupuncture and the spastic muscle will relax gradually. After 1~ 2 courses, the tenstion of spastic muscle decreased evidently, the hemiplegic posture and gait are improved. The experiment compared "antagonistic acupuncture" with regular acupuncture and draw the conclusion that "antagonistic acupuncture" is more effective in improving the myospasm after apoplexy. The regular acupuncture is good at hypomyotonia and low myodynamia after apoplexy. "Antagonistic acupuncture" has the effect cannot be substitute by other methods.
