With the development of science and technology and greatly advancedhuman civilization, people had deep understanding of the medical sciencefrom the aspect of life and the laws of nature. The national economy haddeveloped rapidly, the thought of “human-orientation” was graduallyaccepted by the people, with which people looked on the quality oflife as the medical wishes in the new ages. For that people asked muchmore of the life and health, so the doctor and nurse were demanded morefor "not only to cure, but to care for and respect the patients”, consequently,a widespread social concern was caused about medical humanity, humanecare and the medical practice. Student questionnaire survey results: Through sorting out andanalyzing the questionnaire, we found that the reliability and validity havebeen seriously affected, and so the result is meaningless to this research. The reason is that more than70%of the respondents didn’t read the book orread the book less than30%; as a result they can’t make effective choice tothe questionnaire. By the individual interview we know:①the content isdifficult to the students, and they can’t understand the book’s knowledgethat affects the students’ reading, and makes further influence on students’interest of the course;②The book’s form completely does not have thestructure style for teaching, with low readability and disability to lead the students to read, therefore the book is not suitable for teaching.3. Depth interviews of teachers and students: several problems hadfound on teaching materials such as: with insufficient interest, weakcontinuity and systematicness, big difficulty, repetition between part of thecontent and already offered class, lack of standardization in structure styleand so on.Conclusions: the course of Introduction to medical culture is in urgentneed, there is still a large problem by taking the Introduction to medicalculture as teaching materials, so we have to strengthen the construction ofteaching materials.Chapter Ⅲ: To study and establish the plan of construction of teachingmaterial of Introduction to medical culture. Objective: To finish the program on the teaching materials of"Introduction to medical culture"Methods: Focus groups interviews were used to study strategiesand implementation plans of the construction about the"Introduction to medical culture" teaching materials. Results: the monograph "Introduction to medical culture" used asteaching material usage is less than ideal, there are problems such as thecontent is difficult, the constituting element and structure of the styledoesn’t meet the materials specifications and so on; confirmed the plan of"Introduction to medical culture" teaching materials: The guiding ideology is first of all to determine the teaching objective orientation, to ensure thatthe content provided with the advanced nature, times and scientific; andthe basic principles is to comply with its own characteristics of the medicalhumanities, in line with the psychological and cognitive characteristics ofmedical students, and pay attention to the complete form of lively style. Conclusions: in the construction of teaching materials, first it mustmake clear the location of teaching target; An Introduction to thecompilation of teaching materials should meet not only the characteristicsof medical humanities but also the psychological and cognitivecharacteristics of medical students.
