Objective:As modern computerized technology develops along with educational discovery in depth, more and more multimedia have been involved in academic lecturing. And as a result, it significantly improves the shortages that traditional lecturing was once unable to reach, and yet it enriches the resources as well as information conveyance in traditional lecturing. The application of multimedia has widely been selected by instructors and tailored to support the objectives as well as remarks of the lectures. Its goal is to maximize students'understanding and learning results by utilization of its presentation in text, audio, still images, animation, video and interactivity content form, both individually and/or in combination. Methods of Clinical StudyThe integration of Shang Han Lun includes a tremendous amount of clinical studies. It records not only the classical example of medical conditions but also the medical treatment and its recommendations of medicine dosage. However, if only presenting the theory through traditional lectures with textbooks and handouts, it likely would confine the students'understanding in theoretical aspects rather than its medical practices, and if wore, it may decrease students'interest on this subject. Therefore, it is to believe that using multimedia contents to assist delivering clinical aspects can be extraordinarily efficient and successful. In the past 5 years, we have been collecting a tremendous amount of clinical studies and presented them with using multimedia contents. We integrated notable remarks of Chinese medicine, Shang Han Lun and clinical studies, and also demonstrated on internet website under "Clinical Case Study Video Clips. " The "Clinical Case Study Video Clips " has served to help the instructors in leading the topics and successfully assisted to gain students'understanding of the clinical aspects. The goal is to provide a platform, where we can specifically deliver Shang Han Lun studies and as referential resources for students after the plain lectures on the Internet.ResultsThrough surveys, which mainly collect feedbacks from all students in the class, the finding shows that "Lectures through Routine Medical Ward Rounds Video Clips" have gotten significant amount of positive feedback.78% of the class likes being lectured with collaboration of video contents for it helps to promote clinical thinking process. There is also 86% of the class provided feedback on the design of Video Clips lecture as "Satisfactory." 90% likes the interactions between students and instructor during the Video contents lecture. Also,94% of class thinks lecture using video contents helps to gain understanding of Shang Han Lun in terms of its clinical aspects.93% of the class has agreed that they gained more knowledge and have grown general capacity of Chinese Medicine in 1 month period. And 99% of the class supports the idea to establish such a website as an aid to class materials.ConclusionShang Han Lun is the ever first book that probes into clinical Typhoid studies. Other than its tremendous amount of clinical studies, it also records the classical medical treatment examples. Many of the lectures we learn through practices of this theory have associated with actual clinical studies.Through practices of the theory, we have continued to present the once-seen-rough topic with employing multimedia contents in order to deliver a a mutual learning atmosphere. And with that, we'd also successfully increased students'interests in getting into the depth of the topic. The establishment of such lectures through multimedia contents has become part of the lecture and it continues to serve to assist students in both clinical and theoretical practices.
