Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Cyperus Si-wu Decoction as a treatment for primary dysmenorrhea (Qi-zhi blood stasis syndrome), and its impact on coagulation, determined by APTT, TT, PT and FIB testing.Methods:60patients with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into a treatment group (30patients) and a control group (30patients), the former treated with Cyperus Si-wu-tang particles for three treatment cycles, the latter receiving Yue yue Shu particles treatment for three treatment cycles. Pain scores were observed before treatment, and after3and6cycles of treatment. TCM Hou score was recorded at the same intervals, as well as APTT, TT, PT times, and FIB levels.Results:1. Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea Qi-zhi blood stasis syndrome in the clinical efficacy, pain relief, improvement of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome, there is no significant difference between Cyperus Si-wu-tang particles and yue yue Shu particles.2. In the long-term effects, and improving the menstrual color and quality, Cyperus Si-wu-tang particles significantly better than the Yue yue Shu particles.3. According to observation and statistical analysis of coagulation parameters in the treatment group,we found that Cyperus Si-wu-tang particles can shorten the PT, the lower the INR, extension of APTT to affect blood coagulation function, improve blood "thick, sticky, condensate, stagnation" state and ease dysmenorrhea clinical symptom.4. Efficacy factors results show that the shorter the duration, age at menarche within the normal range is relatively smaller, the treatment effect is more significant. And therefore patients should be recommended with early diagnosis and early treatment. Conclusion:Cyperus Si-wu Decoction treatment of primary dysmenorrhea Qi-zhi blood stasis syndrome is effective, safe, and long-term effect is significant. The effect of improving the menstrual color and quality is significant. At the same time, affecting coagulation parameters in serum thus affecting the blood coagulation, in order to alleviate dysmenorrhea related clinical symptoms. |
