Passive Music Therapy For Depression After A Stroke Cu-rative Effect Evaluation And Effect On Automatic Thinki-ng

Objective:Observe the clinical curative effect of Passive Music Th erapy for depression after a stroke and effect on automatic thinking through random controlled way of study, to improve its clinical tre atment effect.Method:1.Through randomized controlled way of study, divide wh ole60patients with depression after a stroke who meet the standar ds of the disease’s diagnosis into two groups:the Study Group and the Control Group,30cases for each group.2.The study group use passive music therapy with paroxetine20mg for each day.The contr ol group use paroxetine20mg only for each day.Both two groups will proceeding general symptomatic treatment against stroke.3.Outco me measures:All patients will do their Automatic thoughts question naire and Hamilton depression scale (17terms) before this treatment and three weeks after the treatment to observe their automatic thin king and depression changes, and that is how we evaluating efficac y. According to observe and record the patient’s gender, age and so on that will probably affect prognosis.To compare two sets of base line data, record possible side effects that could showed during the treatment and so on.4.Statistics Process:Data analysis using SPSS p ackage handing.Result:1.Longitudinal comparison to itself:According to Automat ic thoughts questionnaire and Hamilton depression scale record, ther e is noticeable difference between two groups compared to the reco rd before treatment (P<0.05).2.Horizontal comparison between two g roup:According to Automatic thoughts questionnaire and Hamilton depression scale record, there is noticeable difference between two groups compared to the record after three weeks of treatment (P<0.05).there is noticeable difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Th e curative effect of study group showed its advantage.There showed no serious side effect before and after the treatment.Conclusion:It’s much more convenient to operated and safe to ap plied using Passive Music Therapy to treat depression after a stroke without any bad feedback, it can also reduce the frequency of aut omatic thinking appears, improving depression of the patients, worth promotion.
