The Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis By "Tou Ci Jing Jin" Acupuncture Method

Objective:to observe the "method of penetrating reinforced" the clinical effect of treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and discussion on its mechanism. By House-Brackmann (H-B) rating scale, face a disability index (FDI) outcome measures such as scale, scientific evaluation of "penetrating reinforced by" the clinical effect of treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, to the treatment in the clinical application of the method of providing reliable basis and guiding principles.Method:This research of observation case are from April2010to October2011in Huangshi city TCM hospital clinic and the Hospital Department reception of around sexual paralysis patients, under around sexual paralysis of research standard total into83cases patients, used random single blind control test method, will meet standard of by try who random is divided into two group:"through thorn by gluten method" Group (treatment group)45cases and General acupuncture Group (control group)38cases. Treatment group used to "through thorn by gluten method" mainly of treatment, control group used General acupuncture method treatment,10days for1course of treatment, treatment of the two groups after3courses of curative effect observation and analysis of the overall. Results:The Radit analysis, compared between the two groups before the treatment H-B facial nerve function classification, there was no significant difference between significance (P>0.05); Compared between the two groups after treatment in patients with H-B facial nerve function classification, significant difference (P<0.05); Compared between the two groups before the treatment of facial blemish index (FDI), there was no significant difference between significance (P>0.05); Compare two sets of patients in the treatment of facial blemish after index (FDI), significant difference (P<0.05). The results show that the treatment group in improving the degree of activity semg function was better than control. Two groups of treatment is effective, P>0.05, there were no statistically significant, explain both treatments can improve symptoms of peripheral facial paralysis; Two groups after treatment and greater rate quite, P<0.05, more statistical significance, explain the treatment group around to the improvement of the symptoms of paralysis is better than the treatment group.Conclusions:Clinical studies have shown that two methods in treatment of peripheral facial paralysis with high efficacy, but "point-through-point by muscle" for the effect on the clinical symptoms of peripheral facial paralysis, particularly on the recovery rate and efficiency much better than the regular acupuncture and group. All in all, the therapy has the advantage of short course, cure rate is high, and its operation is simple, safe and economical, there are no side effects, clinically as an optimization scheme for patients with peripheral facial paralysis treated.
