Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Knee Synovitis (Mutual Resistance And Wet Type) With Chinese-Plaster And Sodium Hyaluronate

ObjectThrough the clinical observation on Chinese-Plaster and Sodium Hyaluronate intra-articular injection in the treatment of traumatic synovitis of knee-joint of patients before and after the clinical symptoms, signs and its clinical efficacy, to discuss the disease pathogenesis and provide practical basis in the treatment of Knee Synovitis with Chinese-Plaster and Sodium Hyaluronate.MethodsAll cases of this topic were from Hubei Provincial TCM hospital outpatient and inpatient department。From2010September to2011June,we had accorded48cases with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of traumatic synovitis of knee joint. They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,24cases in each group, and compared between the two groups of patients in general data (sex, age, course of disease) after statistics out no difference(P>0.05). They were comparable. The control group was treated with Sodium Hyaluronate (Trade name Shi Peite) articular cavity injection,once a week;ang the other group on the basis of the combined Chinese Plaster, external application of herbal medicine once every other day,3times every week. Treatment time in two groups is2weeks. Two groups of patients of knee immobilization, symptoms improved after the stock four muscle during isometric exercise. Two groups were recorded respectively before and after treatments with swelling, pain, range of motion, comparison of ESR and CRP before and after two treatments, observation of adverse reactions. Datas were processed by SPSS17. Ostatisties software, to mean and standard deviation (x+S), count data using chi-square test, measurement data using the test, P<0.05for the difference was statistically significant. Finally we worked out the results and conclusions。Results1. Comparison of comprehensive therapeutic effect:the treatment group were cured,5cases were markedly effective,16cases were effective,3cases were ineffective, total effective rate of87.5%; the control group were3markedly effective,15cases were cured,6cases were ineffective; the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05).2. The main symptoms of two groups:Total score comparation clinical symptoms in pain, swelling, and range of motion, before and after treatment were significantly different (P<0.05). After treatment,the average score of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05).3. Comparison of ESR and CRP:Two groups of treatment have effect in slowing ESR and CRP, the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than the other group in ESR,but was the same in CRP.4. Adverse events:No adverse effects in the two groups of patients were found.Conclusions1. The treatment of two groups has effect in the improvement of pain, swelling, joint activity, ESR,CRP ect. caused by traumatic Knee Synovitis.2. Application of Xiaoyu-Plaster plus SodiumHyaluronate intra-articular injection in the treatment of traumatic knee Synovial achieved a significant effect, than the simple application of Sodium Hyaluronate in having a more positive significance.3. Application of external application of Chinese medicine plus joint cavity injection of drug therapy for this disease, has the advantages of simple operation, safety and reliability, definite curative effect, for clinical treatment of the disease provides certain basis.
