Clinical Observation On The Treatment To Subclinical Hyperthyroidism Of Qiyinliangxu With Fu Fang Jia Kang Film

1.ObjectiveAccording to Clinical observation, compare the speed to promote TSH back to normal,and the effect of maintain the thyroid function stabilizing in patients with subclinical hyperthyroidism by Fu fang jia kang film and His methimazole tablets. By comparison, provide a new method to promote TSH return to normal faster and to maintain the stability of thyroid function in patients with subclinical hyperthyroidism.2.MethodsReference to the "Guidelines for clinical research of new traditional Chinese drug", promulgated in2002by the Ministry of Health, select the patients who are diagnosed with subclinical hyperthyroidism, and in course of treatment with hyperthyroidism, and identified the Qi and Yin Deficiency by Traditional Chinese Medicine. Patients were respectively given Fu fang jia kang film and His methimazole tablets which were randomly divided into two groups. Calculate the symptom points of Traditional Chinese Medicine and detect the free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) values in serum before observation. Detect the free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) values in serum during the observation period of12months for each month. When the observation is over, calculate the symptom points,serum thyroid hormone values, the time TSH recover to normal, the times of hyperthyroidism, subclinical hypothyroidism, subclinical hypothyroidism and normal thyroid function during the observation period. Analyse the results at the end of the observation and study if there were any differences between the two groups on promoting TSH return to normal and maintaining the stability of thyroid function.3. ResultsThe effects are significant in the two groups both on improving patient symptoms and serum thyroid hormone levels, suggesting a statistically significant difference(P<0.05), but there are no differences between two groups (P>0.05). Group Fu fang jia kang film are better than group His methimazole both on the speed of promoting TSH return to normal and maintaining the stability of thyroid function, the differences are statistically significant (P<0.001). There were not any incidents and adverse reactions during the clinical observation period in both groups, suggesting a good safety profile of this clinical observation and in line with the requirements of medical ethics.4.DiscussionThe observation results showed that the group of Fu fang jia kang film have a better effect both on the speed of promoting TSH levels return to normal and maintaining thyroid function normal and stable in a long-term. Reduced the physical and mental hazards and improved the quality of life in patients with sub-clinical hyperthyroidism. And also fill the gaps of research in this area, provided research data for experts and scholars on the study of subclinical hyperthyroidism in the future. Given the limited knowledge and experimental conditions, there is no study on efficacy mechanism of the Fu fang jia kang film. The efficacy of the mechanism of the the Fu fang jia kang film on subclinical hyperthyroidism would be researched in the further.
