The Relationship Between Lumbar Sacralization And The Lumbar Disc Herniation In Adolescent

Objective：To investigate the relationship between Lumbar Sacralization and thelumbar disc herniation in adolescent．Methods：the X-ray photographs of lumbar vertebra were retrospectively studied ofpatients with and without LDH confirmed by MRI．furthermore，the diferential incidenceof LDH between the two groups and the relationship between Lumbar Sacralization andthe position of discherniation were statistically analysized．Results：The incidence of Lumbar Sacralization was7.7％in the control group，31.9％in the LDH group，the difference was statistically signify-cant. In the group withsingle Lumbar Sacralization．there was73.3％of LDH occurred on the same side of thetransitional vertebra，72.7％of which occured at the upper one disc of the t LumbarSacralization：whereas18.2％of LDH on the opposite side of the transitional vertebra．Allof which occurred at the lower one disc of the Lumbar Sacralization.Conclusions：There iS a closer relationship between Lumbar Sacra-lization and thelumbar disc herniation in adolescent．and the Lumbar-Sacralization is one of the importantfactors in the emergence of the lumbar disc herniation in adolescent．...
