Prescription Analysis Of Traditional Chinese Medicin Treatment On Tension-type Headache

Objective: The traditional Chinese medical prescription of periodical literature on thetreatment of tension-type headache(TTH) published in recent ten years (2002-2011) wassorted and analysed by the data mining technology, in order to sum up the regularity ofprescription on the treatment of TTH.Method: Collect the periodical literature about the treatment of TTH published onVIP information Chinese sci-tech periodical database,CNKI China journal full-textdatabase, wanfang data medical network database,Chinese biomedical literature databasein recent ten years,according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria to identify targettexts,sort the prescription,use SPSS software to establish the database,apply the frequencyanalysis to find out high frequency drugs and drug classes, find out drugs those are close tothe clustering by cluster analysis,in order to explore the egularity of prescription on thetreatment of TTH.Results:95prescriptions and126kinds of drugs were involved in the targettexts.There are12kinds of drugs whose frequency were used in more than20times,whichare the core drugs for the treatment of TTH,followed by:Chuanxiong,white peony root,glycyrrhiza,angelica,bupleurum,angelica,scorpion,Tianma,asarum,notopterygium,Gegen,safflower.The application of diaphoretic drugs is at the most,followed by:tonic drugs,blood-quickening stasis,transforming drugs.According to the cluster analysis,6clusterformulas have been formed,whose mechanism of prescription similar to ChuanxiongChatiao Dowder,Decoction for Removing Blood stasis,Erchen Tang,Qifu Yin,ChaihuShugan San,Tianma Gouteng Decoction.In addition14cluster pairs are respectively: keel-oyster,peach seed-safflower,Fangfeng-notopterygium, jujube-ginger, Zhiqiao-Jiegeng,albizzia-Polygala,poria-atractylodes,angelica-asarum,Chenpi-pinellia,bupleurum-Xiangfu, scorpion-centipede,Tianma-uncaria, angelica sinensis-lanceolata, salvia-Gegen.Conclusion: Chuanxiong is very important on the treatment of TTH,we can use itcompatibility with other drugs whether exogenous or internal injuries.When white peonyroot and glycyrrhiza are used together,they can relieve spasm and pain,converge Yin,andhave an obvious effect of treating TTH.Diaphoretic drugs, tonic drugs, blood-quickeningstasis-transforming drugs and liver wind calmed drugs are the basic medicine kinds oftreating TTH, wind dispelling drugs,insect drugs and guiding drugs also play an importantrole on the treatment of this disease. The treatment principle of TTH is adjusting thebalance of Qi and blood,Yin and Yang.Therapies contain dispersing wind,promoting bloodcirculation to remove meridian obstruction,reducing phlegm,nourishing Qi and blood,soothing the liver and relieving depression,etc.We choose different pairing drugs underdifferent cases,also should pay attention to the importance of soothing the liver andrelieving depression, nourishing the blood and tranquilization.
