Objective: to observe the clinical curative effect of treating senile hyperlipidemia inthe way of supporting energy, eliminating stasis, alleviating phlegm and regulating lipid, then research on the mechanism of the method. Methods: grouping double blindly, sixtycases of senile hyperlipidemia are devided into two treatment group,30person each group. The treatment group was treated with healthy energy supporting soup and10mgsimvastatin, the control group was treated with20mg simvastatin. A treatment period lastfor8weeks. Check the following index of patients before and after the treatment:triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (hdl-c), low density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein level, arteriosclerosis index (AI), hemorrheology index and symptom. Results: effective rate of treatment group whose symptom were improved was93.33%, ofwhich53.33%significantly. Compared with the control group, the TC, LDL-C, TG, ApoBwere reduced significantly. hdl-c, ApoA1were increased significantly, the same with thecontrol group.(P>0.05). Lp(a) was reduced significantly in the treatment group, withsignificant difference comparing to control group. atherosclerosis index (AI) and thehemorrheologic in treatment group were both better than the control group, with notabledifference(P<0.05). Conclusion: supporting energy, eliminating stasis, alleviating phlegmand regulating lipid method is a kind of effective method on treating senile hyperlipidemia,it can also improve the hemodynamic changes, arteriosclerosis index level, and improvethe clinical symptoms greatly.
