The Clinical Application Of Free Autogenous Lip Mucosa In Tubularized Incised Plate Urethroplasty

Objective To explore the clinical application of free autogenous lip mucosa intubularized incised plate urethroplasty.Methods From May2009to May2011, On the basis of traditional Snodgrassurethroplasty，we used free autogenous lip mucosa inlay in the urethral plate groovewhich acceptted midline incision to treat35cases of hypospadias.Compared with thetraditional Snodgrass urethroplasty,we analysised the main complications.Results In the35cases of lip mucosa urethral plate inlaid group，Fistulas ocurred in9patients(25.7%),Urethral strictures ocurred in2patients(5.7%).In the35cases oftraditional Snodgrass urethroplasty group, Fistulas ocurred in11patients(31.4%),andurethral strictures ocurred in9patient(25.7%).Inlay lip mucosa graft with Snodgrassurethroplasty has less urethral stricture rate compared with traditional Snodgrassurethroplasty(P<0.05).The incidence of urinary fistula was no significantdifference(P>0.05).Conclusion Inlay lip mucosal graft with Snodgrass urethroplasty combines theadvantages of both traditional Snodgrass technique and free graft technique,it can getgood results with low incidence of urethrostenosis and has some application prospects.
