| Objective:To explore the influence on the short-term efficacy of Snodgrass urethroplasty for hypospadias with two different types of suture techniques, interrupted suture and constinuous suture. Methods:Between May 2015 and May 2016 in our hospital, 42 patients of 2-13 years old children with urethral stricture were selected and divided by the type of anterior and meddle hypospadias into two groups. According to the type of hypospadias were divided into 2 groups: suture group (21 cases), including 13 cases of distal type (The urethral opening is located on the glans of the penis or coronary sulcus ) , 8 cases of middle type (Urethral opening in the penis body); continuous suture group (21 cases),including 12 cases of distal type, 9 cases of middle type. Two group of patients underwent Snodgrass surgery, performed by our Department has the title of chief physician the same surgeon, 6 months, two groups of patients were completed after 12 months of follow-up.Results:The general situation of two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05); suture operation time is longer than the continuous suture. But 6 months postoperative urinary fistula, urethral stricture and number of complications, postoperative two surgery cases, suture group was significantly less than with continuous suture group. Statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.In the treatment of distal, middle hypospadias without serious curved deformity cases, Snodgrass operation can be considered as the first operation; 2.compared with the continuous suture, the suture of urethral plate way will increase the operation time, but can significantly reduce postoperative urinary fistula, the incidence of complications such as urethral stricture, and effectively avoid the probability of two surgery patients; 3.two groups of patients before and after CBCL questionnaire in depression factor and hyperactivity factor improved significantly, this procedure can reduce the psychological burden of patients and their families, to improve the quality of life of children. |
