Purpose:Observe the clinical curative effect based on the method of RenYing point as the main acupoint to acupuncture shoulder-hand syndrome after cerebral infarction.Methods:Select60cases of patients conforming to the diagnostic criteria of shoulder-hand syndrome Ⅰ period, Ⅱ period after cerebral in farction. Divided them into renying point as the main acupoint for acupuncture group (treatment group) and the routine acupuncture group (control group) according to the principles of randomization. Patients in each group are30cases and the treatment lasts for four weeks. Measures as CSS, FMA,VAS and hand edema degree scale will be adopted respectively to make scientific evaluation between the differences before and after the treatment among those conners. Results:The total effective rate of the renying point as the main acupoint for acupuncture group is82.2%, while the total effective rate of the routine acupuncture group is72.4%. The treatment group compared with the control group, P<0.05, which means it is of statistical importance. The two groups before and after treatment. CSS score, FMA score. VAS score and hand edema degree comparision shows distinct differences, P<0.05. which means it is of statistically significance. The differences between the two groups after treatment are notable. P<0.01, which means it is obviously of statistical significance. Conclusion:Two groups of treatment method can be effective in improving the pain of shoulder-hand syndrome after cerebral stroke and the edema symtoms, and can effectively improve physical movement function. The improvement of the quantitative index of the renying point as the main acupoint for acupuncture group is significantly better than the control group.
