Objectiv: The goal of this study was to observe the result of kneefunction restore, relief of pain and the success rate after arthroscopicall-inside technique suture menisci in patients.Methods: A retrospective review of46patients used all-insidetechnique suture menisci from Jan.2007to Dec.2010. The follow-up timewas12–57month,average33±13months. All patients used the FasT-Fixmeniscal suture system. All patinert were evaluated the result of meniscalsuture according to the HSS score and VAS score preoperatively andpostoperatively, and evaluated the menisci whether healed based onBarrentt criteria.Results: In this study, the average HSS score significantly improved from61.7±7.4preoperatively to89.8±9.4postoperatively (P <0.001),41out46patiente had an excellent or good results according to the HSSscore(more than80). The average VAS score significantly improved from5.9±1.2preoperatively to1.6±1.3postoperative (P <0.01).5out46patients remain had a positive McMurray test or/and tenderness onjoint-line palpation, the success rate was89.1%. and no neurovascular or other major complications was detected directly associated with the use ofall-inside device.Conclusion: This study showed a89.1%success rate of all-insidetechnique suture longitudinal tears located meniscal body or posterior horn.Significantly improved in alleviate pain and restore knee joint functionafter meniscal sutrue. Gender, age, time from injury to operation, themeniscus side (medial/lateral), the site of injury, whether concomitantanterior cruciate ligament reconstruction had no effect on the success rateof meniscus suture.
