As the ageincreaseing, the anterior chamber depth is decreasing and lens thickness isincreasing, it has become the consensus in the field of Ophthalmology,however, there are still a number of problem were not resolved。1ã€the quantitative relationship between age with lens thickness and anteriordepth is unknown, and how much is the anterior chamber depth at the age of60?2,the single metrical data of ocular anterior segment does not reflect theoverall change, the form of anterior chamber has IRIS-bulging and iridologyhigh fold in the closed-angle glaucoma patients.3, in the past, themeasurement method is simple, it belongs to ocular estimate, semi-quantitative or indirect measurements, the data accuracy is poor. With thedevelopment of measurement technique of ophthalmologic examina-tions, examination equipment updates, it provided richer and preciserinformations. From the ocular estimate age which observed By slit-lampcombined with anterior chamber angle mirror, to the ultrasonicbiomicroscopy (UBM) section before the semi-quantitative, opticaltomography (OCT) and the Pentacam panoramic digital measurement age, itsfeatures become more and more, the precision is much better. Pentacam is thefirst measurement and analysis system which using a rotating Scheimpflugcamera.It by rotating measurement gets multiple anterior segment imaging,anterior segment three dimensional graphs, computing section of the outcomes measurement and color graphics display, also has a three-dimensionaldynamic reproduction function, set of corneal thickness and corneal surfacetopographic measurement, Scheimpflug image display, before and aftercataract extraction and analysis of three dimensional analysis of anteriorchamber and five functions in one. In terms of measuring ACD, Pentacam is aprinciple based on slit-ray with a rotating camera, positioning display from thefront surface of the cornea to the posterior surface of the detailed images,through three dimensional space can truly reflect the ACD. This research aimsto examine the relationship between anterior chamber depth, lens thickness innormal people.Method: measurements the86subjects of(86eye) normal people(diopter-3.00D~+1.00D) parameter of the anterior Chamber in our hospital withPentacam three-dimension anterior eye segment Analyzer from March toOctober2011. Comparison the anterior chamber depth,anterior chamberangle,anterior chamber volume and thickness of the lens in different sex andage, To evaluate if there are differences between comparison groups with anindependent sample t test; To analyze the relationship between age withanterior chamber depth, anterior chamber angle,anterior chamber volume andlens thickness useing linear correlation, regression analysis.Result: The mean ACD, LT, ACV and ACA measurements of normal eyeswere3.04±0.24mm,172.76±25.27mm3,35.78±9.09°3.49±0.29mm, Therewere no significant differenees between different sexes.There was a negativecorrelation Between age and ACD in normal subjcets (Spearman rACD=-0.934,P<0.001). There was a positive correlation Between age and LT innormal subjcets (Spearman rLT=0.810, P<0.001). There was a positivecorrelation Between age and ACV in normal subjcets (Spearman rACV=-0.619,P<0.001). There was a positive correlation Between age and ACA innormal subjcets (Spearman rACA=-0.395,P<0.001). The Linear regressionequations of ACDã€LT and ACV to age were y(ACD)=3.723-0.020X(age)ã€y(LT)=3.046+0.012X(age) and Y(ACV)=210.095-0.998X(age).Conclusion: 1the pentacam can provide multifarious data of ocular anterior segmentaccurately. It can get direct quantified relationship between age and anteriorchamber parameters through measurement, and enriched the data contents ofthe ocular anterior segment.2In the anterior chamber parameters of normal people, LT growth graduallyincreased with age, and ACD, ACV, ACA as age increases gradually reduced.3Anterior chamber parameters have no statistically significant differencebetween the different gender.4In the normal population, there is a linear relationship between anteriorchamber parameters with age. |
