Objective:To evaluate the clinical effects of Gastritis No.1 and Gastritis No.2 to treat Chronic Superficial Gastritis (Syndrome of Incoordination Between Liver and Stomach and Spleen-Stomach Damp-Heat Syndrome) objectively. This will provide strong foundation of spread and application to treat Chronic Superficial Gastritis.Methods:60 patients of standard Chronic Superficial Gastritis,30 patiens for Therapeutic Group,30 patients for Control Group; Syndrome of Incoordination Between Liver and Stomach Gastritis No.1+Shiweishu capsule, Spleen-Stomach Damp-Heat Syndrome Gastritis No.2+Shiweishu capsule. Control Group 30 patients:Shiweishu capsule+TCM non-tisane mimetics. TCM symdrome credits, gastroscope examination and pathological examination were recorded after 8-week course of treatment. It will contain the general therapeutic effects of two-group medical treatment. Any bad signs of reaction/bad events during the course of treament were records honestly while the safe evaluation was taken. Results:After 8-week course of treatment, the general effective rate of Therapeutic Group is 93.3%, including 10% cured effective rate,56.7% excellent effective rate and 26.7% effective rate and 6.7% invalid effective rate; the general effective rate of Control Group is 73.3%, including 3.3 % cured patients,33.3% excellent effective rate,36.7% effective rate and 26.7% invalid effective rate. Through Statistics analysis, the therapeutic results showed distinct difference (P<0.05) between the CSG patients who took TCM and western madicine after 8-week course of treatment. The effetive rate of TCM therapeutic group is much higher. Regarding Gastroscope improvement, the general effective rate of Therapeutic Group is 83.3%, including 3.3% cured effective rate,26.7% excellent effective rate,53.3% effetive rate and 16.7% invalid effective rate; The general effective rate of Control Group is 60%, including 3.3% cured patients,23.3% excellent effective rate,33.3% effective rate and40.0% invalid effective rate. Through statistics analysis, the Gastroscope improvement showed distinct difference (P<0.05) between the CSG patients who took TCM and western madicine after 8-week course of treatment. The effetive rate of TCM therapeutic group is much higher.Regarding pathological improvement, the general effective rate of Therapeutic Group is 66.7%, including 3.3% cured effective rate,10.0% excellent effective rate,53.3% effective rate and 33.3% invalid effective rate; The general effective rate of Control Group is 53.3%, including 3.3% cured effective rate,6.7% excellent effective rateand 43.3% effective rate and 46.7% invalid rate. Through statistics analysis, the Pathological improvement showed distinct difference (P>0.05) between the CSG patients who took TCM and western madicine after 8-week course of treatment. The effetive rate of two groups is the sameSafe evaluation:a routine blood test, a routine urine test, aroutine feces test, electrocardiogram and livers & lungs function all did not show distinctive abnormal change after or before the course of treatment. Summary:Gastritis No.1 and Gastritis No.2 can obviously improve patients' digestive tube symdrome and Gastroscope representation when it comes to treatment of Chronic Superficial Gastritis (Syndrome of Incoordination Between Liver and Stomach and Spleen-Stomach Damp-Heat Syndrome). Its symdrome improvement and gastroscope improvement both are better than that of Control Group. This shows us that TCM Therapy is an effecitve and safe therapy to treat Chronic Superficial Gastritis.
