Effect Of Shen Mai Injection In Postoperative Recovery Of Elderly Colorectal Cancer With Qi And Yin Deficiency

Object iveThis research investigated the role Shenmai injection in elderly colorectal cancer patients recovery, through observating the effect of Shenmai Injection on elderly patients with colorectal cancer postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery and symptoms of fatigue, indicated that Shenmai injection on the treatment of elderly patients with colorectal cancer has important clinical significance.MethodsIn this research,50patients with postoperative colorectal cancer were randomly divided into Shenmai injection group(abbreviation:SM group) and control group.The patients of Shenmai injection group were given Shenmai injection after the first day of surgical operation, and combined with conventional medicine. The patients of control group were only given conventional medicine.Observe and compare the time of the first flatus, the first cacation of the patients in two groups, and compare the difference of sleep time and fatigue score of two groups patients between the first day and the seventh day, and symptoms points of qi and yin deficiency in two groups.Results1. The comparison in recovery of gastrointestinal function:the first flatus, the first cacation were significantly shorter than the patients of control group, and the difference has statistical significance (P<0.01)2. The comparison in recovery of symptoms of fatigue:in two groups, before the surgery and the first postoperative day, the sleep time and fatigue score of two groups was no significant difference.After treatment, sleep time and fatigue score on the seventh day after operation were more than the first day significantly, but SM group was more advantages (P<0.01)3. The comparison of symptoms points of qi and yin deficiency in two groups:the symptoms points of qi and yin deficiency in two groups before surgery was not significant difference (P>0.05),however,on the seventh day after operation in SM group was superior to controlgroup (P<0.01)ConelusionShenmai injection used in postoperative colorectal cancer patients, can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, Improve in patients with postoperative symptoms of fatigue, promote recovery of tissue and organ function, Improve immunity, reduce the clinical symptoms of qi and yin deficiency, The results of study have shown that SM could be help to the postoperative recovery of elderly colorectal cancer, and was worthy of clinical application and extension.
