Clinical Research On Acupuncture With Dialectic Of Channels And Tendons Treatment To Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveIn order to choose a more effective clinical treatment, the paper explores the clinical effectiveness and superiority of Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) with treatment of acuputure on dialectic of channels and tendons, by observing the clinical efficacy of it.MethodsThe randomized controlled trial of clinical research methods are used in this research. To select60patients of Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) as the cases of study, which according to the ratio of1:1were divided into treatment group (treatment of acuputure on dialectic of channels and tendons) and control group (traditional acupuncture treatment). Observed and marked the score record with the Lysholm knee rating standard table and knee osteoarthritis treatment effect decision criteria (JOA) at0days before treatment, and after the third day in the course, one course of treatment, and1months after treatment. To record adverse events in the process of research at any time. The final step is to use the statistical software SPSS19.0to collected data in statistical analysis.Results1. Before treatment, the treatment group and cantrol group in general, Lysholm knee rating and JOA score were no significantly difference(P>0.05).2. After the third day in the course, one course of treatment and1months after treatment, compared with the before treatment, there is significantly difference(P<0.05).3. After the third day in the course, one course of treatment and1months after treatment, the treatment group’s scores of Lysholm knee rating and JOA are more than control group’s, there are significantly difference(P<0.05).4. In the course of the study, there are no adverse events, such as halo pin, curved needle, broken needle and hematoma.ConclusionTwo kinds of acupuncture treatment to KOA has very good clinical curative effect. They can improve patients’knee pain, swelling and joint activities and so on. In the short-term curative effect, the acupuncture with Dialectic of channels and tendons treatment is better than traditional acupuncture treatment to KOA.
