Clinical Research On The Effects And Law Of Acupoints Thermal Moxibustion Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectivesTo explore the regularity of the acupoints thermal effect in patients of Knee Osteoarthritis. To investigate the effectiveness of the thermal moxibustion for treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee. In order to provide a reference for clinlcal to selection of points of thermal moxibustion for treatment of knee osteoarthritis.MethodsThis study included in70subjects.35patients are the treatment group who are accorded with the research standard of knee osteoarthritis, all form acupuncture clinic and inpatient department of Guangdong provincial hospital of TCM. Included in the study of the35healthy volunteers with standard healthy subjects as control group. All from Guangdong provincial hospital medical branch and recruitment the pool of recruits.All use the method of Moxibustionsense to probe all thermal acupoints. Control group is just probed one time. We should find out all thermal points to observe their distribution of the law. To the treatment group, the thermal moxibustion treatment period is4weeks. Select three of the heat-sensitive and the strongest of the three acupuncture points, three times a week to record the thermal point of change weekly. Through the obserbation of the groups, we can record the thermal point of the thermal point area and find out the high incidence of thermal acupoints of the probability distribution law, the law of chang, expore the thermal of acupoints with osteoarthritis of the knee relevance. Efficacy was evaluated by the scale of WOMAC scores and the TCM symptom scoresheet before and after treatment. Data is analyzed with SPSS16.0software after the end of the research, specific count data using the chi-square test and the measurement data between the two groups and the groupwithin respectively using independent samples t-test and paired t-test, grade data using Radit analysis.Result1.The treatment group and control group have no significant difference(P>0.05) in gender, age.2. By using paired t-test, before and after treatment, total score of WOMAC integral, pain and stiffness after treatment has statistically significant differences (*P<0.01) of treatment group;Physical function the diference was statistically significant (*P<0.05). Buy using rank sum test, before and after treatment, the total score of patients with TCM symptoms was statistically significant (P<0.05). Among them, joint pain, weak waist, up and down the stairs, flat land walking was statistically different (P <0.05). Treatment group by the thermal moxibustion for treatment of the total effective rate was91.18%.3. Tht law of acupoints thermal:the treatment group has highter occurrence rate (94.3%) of the acupoints than control group (34.29%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The thermal of the number of acupoints significantly was more than the control group, which was in line with the theory of the the acupoints sensitized state and the resting state. The treatment group thermal acupoints are mainly distributed in the Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming, Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang, Ren Meridian and Spleen Meridian of Foot-taiyin. Thermal acupoints of high site for the treatment group is the Zusanli (next), Yanglingquan (next), Sanyinjiao (next), Liangqiu (next), Yinlingquan (next), Dubi (next), Xiguan(next), Xuehai (next), Xiyangguan(next), Neixiyan(next), Heding(next), Yatongdian(next). The most heat-sensitive thermal points are Zusanli(next), Yanglingquan (next), Neixiyan (next), Xuehai(next), Taixi(next), Dubi(next), Xiyangguan(next), Yinlingquan (next), etc. Thermal acupoints of high site for the control group is the Zusanli(next), Shenshu(next), Sanyinjiao(next), followed by Guanyuan(next),Yanglingquan(next). The form of acupoints thermal:the treatment group is heat, diathermy, non-thermal (Ma, swelling) and other. Control group is non-thermal, diathermy, heat transfer three.4. The law of forms of acupoints thermal:to the treatment group are heat, diathermy, non-thermal(numbness, swelling) and others;to the control group are non-thremal, diathermy, heat transfer. The differences between the tow groups was statistically significant (<0.05). While, thesurface is not hot deep not thermal form not statistically significant between the two groups.5. The law of changing about thermal acupoints of treatment group:the changing of Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Liang Qiu, Yin Ling Quan, Xuehai, Xiyangguan, Neixiyan, Yatongdian and other points are sensitized disappear statistically significantly, while Yanglingquan, Dubi, Xiguan, Heding are not statistically significant.ConclusionAcupoints thermal moxibustion treatment for knee arthritis is effective. Patients with osteoarthritis of the knee thermal acupoints of the rate, the most sensitive points appear in the Zusanli (next), Yang Ling Quan (next), Neixiyan(next). Which help us to formaset standard optimization treatment Programs.
