Abstract/Summary:
Purpose:The target of this paper is to study the clinical effect on Knee Osteoarthritis with Moxibustion through Meridian-Muscle-Lesion Rules, and observe the expression of regulatory mechanism of OPG and RANKL. The research will provide new clinical ideas and Laboratory testing methods for KOA.Material and method:76knee joints in124cases of KOA patients were divided into2groups randomly:the single number is Meridian-Muscle-Lesion group and the double number is traditional needle acupuncture group. Two groups have37and39knee joints in62cases respectively. The patients’ages were between45and78. The disease course of3months to13years, and the average course of disease were8.1years. There was no significant difference between two groups in gender, age and the course of disease (P>0.05). Between and after the treatment with moxibustion, the patients of two groups were had been Extracted the synovial joints and isolated cells. We were Detected the expression of cellular level OPG and RANKL with ELISA. The result will be manage with statistics analysis.Result:1. Continuous4courses of treatment, the KOA patients of two groups were all have clinical effect, and the clinical effect of treatment group was obvious than the control group.2. After moxibustion treatment, the cellular level OPG and RANKL in two groups were all have changed. The cellular level OPG was all have increased and the cellular level RANKL was all have decreased. And the treatment group has obvious change. The Laboratory test results indicate that two groups have significant difference. Conclusion:1. After moxibustion treatment, the clinical effect of Meridian-Muscle-Lesion group were14,15,20,13respectively, and the total effect ive’rate was79.03%; The clinical effect of traditional group were9,13,18,20respectively, and. the total effective rate was67.74%. The Meridian-Muscle-Lesion group had a better effect; especially the flexion and extension function of knee joints had the most remarkable effect. The author draws the conclusion that the treatment with moxibustion could improve the joint function and relief the pain of the KOA patients.2. Moxibustion treatment has plays a positive role in relieving pain of knee joint, and significant improving movement of the joints. The clinical effect of treatment group was obvious than the control group.3. After moxibustion treatment, the cellular level OPG and RANKL in two groups were all have changed. It proof that the moxibustion treatment have clinical-effect. And the cellular level of treatment group has obvious change than the control group.
