Implementation And Efficacy Evaluation In Clinical Pathway Of Traditional Chinese Medicine On Chronic Laryngeal Yin

ObjectivesThe purpose of this subject is to observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine therapy on chronic laryngitis.Methods96cases were treated with therapies based on syndrome differentiation,7days a course,4courses consecutively. To observe the effect of this therapy, we used Chinese traditional Otolaryngology diseases criteria of diagnosis and Effectiveness, VHI-10scale, and computer Voice Analysis system.Result1. The total effective rate of the TCM therapy is79.56%.2. Except dryness of the throat, the symptoms of mild group and moderate group were improved significantly after operation. The leading amelioration after treatment respectively is hoarseness.3. Referred to the Voice Acoustic Analysis, there was a significant difference in Jitter (P<0.05), NNE (P<0.01) between pre and post treatment, while no differences in Shimmer, HNR and Fo (P>0.05).4. Subjective Measurement demonstrated a significant improvement comparing to themselves, based on VHI-10.5.93cases satisfaction in Costs, Course and Efficacy aspects were high. Satisfaction degree in acceptability of Clinical Pathway is92.5%, while the ratio up to89.2%in Diagnosing and Treating Service.ConelusionClinical Pathway of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an effective treatment on chronic laryngeal Yin, and no serious side effect was found during the course of the treatment.
