Non - Surgical Treatment Of Chronic Hypertrophic Laryngitis Based On Clinical Pathways

Objective: Based on clinical pathway.We compared the changes of voice assessment data and signs&symptoms of the patients with chronic hypertrophic laryngitis before and after treatment(traditional chinese medicine+body-acupuncture combined with voice therapy),and to give a comprehensive summary of the efficacy of voice therapy in treating chronic hypertrophic laryngitis.Finally, the aims of this study is to propose some theoretical foundation of voice therapy in treating chronic hypertrophic laryngitis.Methods:Follow the open, randomized and open-label clinical trial design method to carry on the study.On June 1,2014 to February 28,2015,we collected 60 patients with chronic hypertrophic laryngitis who come from the Chengdu University of T.C.M.They were divided into two groups according to stochastic,30 patients in the test group while the others in the control group.The patients in the test group were treated with hui yan zhu yu fluid+body-acupuncture combined with voice therapy, while the control group with hui yan zhu yu fluid+body-acupuncture.During the therapeutic period, the doctors observed and recorded the changes of the voice assessment data and signs&symptoms of all the patients in the first day,7days,14days and 28days.Finally, give a summary report according to the clinical effect evaluating criteria.We collected all the data, then settled down statistically and analyzed in the third stage.Results:1. The signs and symptoms integral comparison.7 days after the treatment,signs and symptoms after treatment group compared between before and after the treatment group and comparison, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).14 days after the treatment,throat dryness and cough scores were compared between groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),hoarseness,foreign body sensation in throat, sore throat and local physical signs, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); Intra-group comparison, in the test group,hoarseness, dry cough, sore throat and local physical signs of groups,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), sore throat and local physical signs score, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05), in the control group,cough scores,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), dry throat, sore throat, sore throat and local physical signs,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).28 days after the treatment, signs and symptoms after treatment group compared between before and after the treatment group and comparison,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2. VHI integral comparison.7 days after the treatment,VHI scale scores after treatment group compared between before and after the treatment group and comparison, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).14 days after the treatment,the F value and E value were compared between groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the P value and T value,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); Intra-group comparison, F value, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the P value, E value and T value,the difference was no statistically significant (P>0.05); in the control group, in the control group,VHI scale scores, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).7 days after the treatment,VHI scale scores after treatment group compared between before and after the treatment group and comparison, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).3. EGG graph comparison.7 days after the treatment,the results of EGG after treatment group compared between before and after the treatment group and comparison, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).14 days after the treatment,the comparison between groups,he results of EGG,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05); Intra-group comparison,results of HNR of two groups,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), results of Jitter, Shimmer, CQ and CI,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).28 days after the treatment, the results of EGG after treatment group compared between before and after the treatment group and comparison,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4. The comparison of total effective rate.7 days and 14days after the treatment, total effective rate,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),The total effective power of test group (92.86%) was obviously higher than that of control group (85.71%,P<0.05).Conclusion:This clinic research displays that each group after treatment than before treatment of voice assessment data and signs&symptoms,both improved by between any two groups, and there were significant difference between groups(P <0.05).So the therapeutic regimen of traditional chinese medicine+body-acupunc-ture combined with voice therapy in treating patients with chronic,hypertrophic laryngitis is worth clinical promotion.
