On the basis of the collected existent editions, we firstly arranged, corrected and annotated the Xiao Longyuan edition, thus to dig out the most precious material that can reflect the occurrance and treatment of epidemic diseases in Lingnan region in the Qing dynasty. Secondly, we summarized the academic features of the book, and analysed the statistical relationship of traditional Chinese medicine in the book, exploring the application of pricking blood-letting therapy, in literature of Lingnan epidemic diseases.
