Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a common endocrine and glucose and lipid metabolism disorders of the endocrine diseases affecting women of reproductive age, the high incidence rate of which reaches5%-21%, accounting for50%-70%of the ovulatory dysfunction infertility. Ovarian dysfunction is the clinically significant feature, mainly for menstrual disorders, infertility, hirsutism, acne and obesity and so on. And PCOS, which has a variety long-term complications, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer etc, has become one of the most common and the most important diseases that affect women’s physical and mental health and quality of life. The etiology and pathogenesis of PCOS is very complex, so it is still the focus and difficulty in the research field of gynecological.Abdominal needle therapy, which was foud by Professor Bo Zhiyun who is the abdominal acupuncture training center director of the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Continuing Education, a representative new acupuncture method based on the repeated clinical practice for about30years. It inherited the Chinese traditional medicine and combined with modern medical research on the meridian. It is based on the theory of Chinese traditional medicine,"Shenque control system" as the core. It dredged the meridian, regulated the internal organs and the treated disease through the acupuncture abdominal acupuncture points based on using the traditional Chinese medicine science, law, parties, point. After all, it is a method with advantages such as less pain, quick, efficacy and stability, wide indication. As a result of abdominal needle therapy is a new treatment method, it was used relatively Jess in the treatment and research of gynecological. In recent years, some researchers gradually began to use abdominal acupuncture for treatment of gynecological diseases, and achieved certain results. In this study, we used the abdominal acupuncture to treat the anovulation associated with PCOS pations who had non Kaohsiung hormone expression, and the type of TCM Syndrome was deficiency of kidney and blood stasis, to observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of the abdominal needle therapy in the treatment of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type of anovulation associated with PCOS, and provide clinical and experimental evidence for the study on its mechanism.Object iveThrough the scientific and rigorous clinical trials and methods of research, to observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy of the treatment of abdominal acupuncture on ovulatory dysfunction of PCOS cased by kidney deficiency and stasis.MethodsThis study used a randomized control led study method.53eligible subjects were randomly divided into two groups:28cases of abdominal acupuncture group (treated group) and25cases of Clomifene Ci trategroup (control led group). To observe and compare the clinical symptoms(menstruation, TCM syndromes, pregnancy, etc.), basal body temporat ll, follicle development, thickness of endometrial and changes of sexual.....mones of the two groups, uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index(RI), then, to evaluate the effectiveness and Safety of the abdominal acupuncture herapy on Ovulatory Dysfunction of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome cased by Kidney Deficiency and Stasisby analyzing the data.Resultshe acupuncture group pregnancy rate was34.62%, slightly higher than the western medicine group in29.17%. But through the Chi-squnro test, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).he ovulation rates of the acupuncture group and western medicine group were65.33%and73.24%. Through the Chi-square test, the difference was not statistically signi ficant(P>0.05).(3) During the treatment, the thickness of the endometrial during peri-implantation period of the acupuncture group were better than that of the western medicine group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). In the day of injecting of HCG, the proportion of type A+B endometrial of abdominal acupuncture group was84%, for the while, the proportion of type A+B endometrial of western medicine group was63.38%. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The type A endometrial of abdominal acupuncture group accounted for54.67%and the type A endometrial of western medicine group was36.62%. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).omparing the clinical comprehensive therapeutic effect of the two groups, the cure rate of the acupuncture group was34.62%and the total effective rate was69.23%, while, the cure rate of the western medicine group is33.33%and the total effective rate was75.00%. Through the Chi-square test, the two groups of clinical cure rate and the total efficiency compared with no significant difference(P>0.05).Theuterine artery pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index(RI) of the two groups were lower than before after the treatment. The uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) of abdominalacupuncture group decreased more than western medicine group. By statistical analysis, the difference was significant (P<0.05). Cone l us i onAbdominal acupuncture treatment can induce ovulation in PCOS patients, also can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, regulate the reproductive endocrine hormone levels and improve the receptivity of the endometrial, deserve to be popularized.
