Purpose:Objective to observe the clinical effect of fire acupuncture on spastic paralysis of upper limbs after stroke, and to explore the therapeutic effect of fire acupuncture on the disease,so as to provide relevant clinical basis for future diagnosis and treatment.Materials and Methods: According to the current diagnostic criteria and the corresponding inclusion criteria,60 patients with spastic paralysis caused by stroke were divided into two different groups according to different acupuncture methods, and they were randomly assigned as fire needle group(n = 30)and traditional acupuncture group(n = 30).The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture, while the treatment group was treated with fire acupuncture. The acupoint selection and positioning of the two groups were consistent. The clinical efficacy was observed after 28 days. The treatment efficiency, simplified Fugl Meyer motor function score, modified Ashworth spasticity scale and clinical neurological deficit Assessment Scale(upper limb)were used for clinical evaluation.Results:1.Comparing the gender, incidence, age and course of disease of the two groups,we know that the baseline data before treatment are comparable.2.Comparing Fugl Meyer motor function(upper limb)scores before and after treatment,FMA scores of patients in two different groups were significantly improved after receiving corresponding treatment, and the improvement of FMA scores in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group.3.Compared with the modified Ashworth spasticity scale before and after treatment, the scores of patients in the two groups were significantly lower, and the fire needle group was significantly better than the traditional acupuncture group.4.Comparing the scores of clinical neurological deficits(upper limbs)before and after treatment, the scores of patients in both groups decreased, and the fire acupuncture group was superior to the traditional acupuncture group.5.Curative effect analysis: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%;the total effective rate of the control group was 40%;the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Both traditional acupuncture and fire needle acupuncture are effective in the treatment of increased biceps brachii muscle tension after stroke.2.Compared with the traditional acupuncture group, the recovery of upper limb motor function, the improvement of upper limb spasm and the degree of nerve function repair were better in the fire needle point acupuncture group.3.Fire needle acupuncture can effectively improve the abnormal flexion activity of the elbow caused by increased biceps muscle tension after stroke.
