Establish a national unified electronic drug supervision network, apply electronic supervision according to the classification of drugs, to achieve real-time supervision of drug process, is China’s drug supervision and administration departments’important measures in innovating their work way and strengthening process supervision in new situation. However, China’s annual drug sales amount is huge, coupled with the previous drugs data which has uploaded to network but not yet marketed, China electronic drug supervision network system’s existing centralized data processing mode will face enormous challenge. Hundreds of billions of information stored in the Chinese electronic drug supervision network’s background system, may cause the system to run slowly, reduce the efficiency of supervision, but also increase the risk of system collapse or paralysis. Once the system is paralyzed, drug product and business enterprises will be unable to conduct normal inbound and outbound work, business operations will be affected, and drug supply will be suffered, which even bring about serious social problems.The core idea of cloud computing is the unified management and scheduling of variety of computing resources, to form a pool of computing resources to provide customers with on-demand service. Based on cloud computing thoughts, we can translate the existing data centralized processing of drugs electronic supervision into the sub-regional regulatory model, each region establishes its own drug electronic supervision network, the central server of the drug electronic monitoring network unified management and scheduling the computing resources of every region.This paper summarizes the principle of current electronic supervision in detail, and based on this, it analyses the current data processing mode and the existing problems of drug electronic supervision. Then, this paper presents a cloud computing dada processing model. Finally, it divides current drug supervision into some regulatory cloud zonings according to the model. This paper solves the problems effectively of data’s centralized processing in drug electronic supervision, and has a good practical guiding significance of China’s drug regulatory reform and development.
