Objective:To investigate the current status and problems of employed nurses in the three first class hospital of Shanxi province, and evaluate and analyze the investigated results, then put forward the corresponding proposal, In order to provide reference opinion for the health administrative departments at all levels of decision-making.Methods:1. Using the method of questionnaire investigation,122permanent nurses and328employed nurses were selected from the1st line clinical work in three first class hospital of Shanxi province. After investigation, the current status and problems of employed nurses in the three first class hospital of Shanxi province were made clear, and using Excell database and SPSS13.0software to do statistical processing. With rank test and t test method, the factors influencing nurse employment was analyzed.2.Visiting methods:by using the interview of nursing experts, nursing backbones, department directors and head nurses, a thorough understanding of the employed nurses was got.All the interview was done by anonymous independent volunteer.Results:The nurse numbers of survey in the three first class hospitals were582.635and423respectively. The ratio of employed nurses to total nurses accounting for52.67%,57.99%,61.44%respectively. The drop out rates of nurses were7.8%,6%and6.5%respectively.The employed nurses think that their current titles is unfair compared with the permanent nurses, and with statistical differences (P<0.05). The love about nursing work of employed nurses and permanent nurses are the same, and without statistical differences (P>0.05). The employed nurses did not think that they got the same kinds of fair treatment by the head nurse compared with the permanent nurses, they were treated poorly, and with statistical differences (P<0.001). And also, the employed nurses did not think that they got the same kinds of fair treatment by the doctors compared with the permanent nurses, they were treated poorly, and with statistical differences (P<0.001). On the disagreement between nurses and doctors, it occurred less in employed nurses than that of permanent nurses, and with statistical differences (P<0.001). As to the daily working time, the employed nurses worked longer than the permanent nurses, and with statistical differences (P<0.001).On the investigation of personal feelings about working pressure and ability training, the employed nurses got evident differences from the permanent nurses. As to the important successful signs of nursing fair, and the knowledge to the factors influencing nursing work, the employed nurses felt the same with the permanent nurses. Conclusion:We proposed that the related departments take suitable measures and the government carried out related policies to standardize the regulations on the improper and unfair treatment to the employed nurses. Each hospital should use every kind of channels to promote the vigorous personality and total ability of the employed nurses, in order to stabilize the nursing group, and reducing the negative influence to the development of nursing by the current employed nurse system.
