Objective:Through the investigation and analysis of the four diagnostic methods and the relevant circumstances of the children who were diagnosed as bronchial asthma in remission aged from3to14by our hospital from March to August in2010, we are aimed to learn about the risk factors, predisposing factors and precursor seizures, making sure that we can make early detection of asthma and its risking group in children.(2) Preliminarily learn about the basic situation of the TCM bronchial asthma in remission and its distribution factors by children aged from3to14.(3) Preliminarily learn about the relationship between the TCM asthma remission syndromes and related factors of the children from3to14years old, providing the objective and scientific basis for preventing asthma in children by TCM and paving the way for the asthma epidemiological survey. Methods:Select the four diagnostic and the related circumstances of the children who were diagnosed as bronchial asthma in remission aged from3to14by The First Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March to August in2010, applying SPSS13.0to establish database and check.TCM adopts the descriptive analysis, but the indicators of syndrome analysis use the frequency analysis, card-type relationship with the predisposing factors uses χ2test.Results:During the203asthmatic children, the ration of the male and female prevalence is1.5:1, age from4to9years. Of the distribution of the bronchial asthma in remission, repeated colds take up63.5percentages (129cases); shortage of breath takes up50.2percentages (102cases); cough and weakness takes up45.percentages (92cases); anorexia takes up50.7percentages (103cases); colorless of face takes up47.8percentages (97Cases); white tongue coating takes up39.9percentages (81cases); Of the asthma types, lung spleen-deficiency takes up56.2percentages (114cases); lung-kidney takes up28.1percentages (57cases); kidney-yang deficiency takes up15.8percentages (32cases); Remission of asthma in children differs according to the seasons (p<0.05), but the onset of the syndrome such as past history, family history and allergies have no difference (p>0.05).Spring and winter are the common onset seasons, while the incidence time focused on early morning and night. Respiratory infection is the most important predisposing factor, taking up40.4percentages. Changes in the weather, family environment, diet, medical history, family history and other factors are the risking factors for asthma in children. Most children with asthma have the allergic disease or family history. Dust mites are the major allergens of all the types, taking up57.1percentages.157patients of the203cases (77.3percentages) had been misdiagnosed; with139cases (68.5percentages) receiving no standardized treatment and management. Conclusions:Pulmonary spleen deficiency syndromes and lung-kidney are the most common types in the remission of asthma in children. Remission of asthma in children differs according to the seasons, but the onset of the syndrome such as past history, family history and allergies have no difference. Spring and winter are the common onset seasons, while the incidence time focused on early morning and night. Respiratory infection is the most important predisposing factor. Family environment, diet, medical history, family history and other factors are the risking factors for asthma in children. So great attention should be paid to the standardization of childhood asthma prevention and management.
