Investigation Analysis On Employment Intention Of Community Nursing Among Nursing Student In Qinghai Province

Objective:By investigating on employment intention of community nursing among school nursing student and practice nursing student in Qinghai province,clearing attitude of community nursing among undergraduate and college nursing students,analyzing influence factors of employment intention,provide basis and suggestion for community nursing education and development.Method:Random cluster sampling325school and practice nursing students from two clinical colleges and Qinghai people’s hospital in Qinghai province. Investigation questionnaire including basic condition,recognition degree and attitude of employment intention of community nursing.Collecting data were input computer and established excel database, then analyzing these data by SPSS19.0statistical software,which include descriptive analysis and multifactor variance analysis.Result:1.325Nursing students took part in this investigation,325effective questionnaire were recycled,effective recycling rate is100%.2.Basic condition of investigated nursing students:316female students and9male students.han nationality was65.54%,the rest were Hui, Tibetan,Tu,Sala and Mongolian nationality.Average age was20.32±44year.four years undergraduate was21.15%, three years junior college (senior starting point)38.15%, five years junior college21.23%, two years junior college18.46%。Nursing students who come from Qinghai province was78.95%, non-local province about21.05%.3.Recognition degree of communitynursing among investigated nursing students:According to the order of arrangeme-nt, the understanding source of community health service were arrangement, the understanding source of community health service were classroom,newspaper,magazine,TV news,practice or society practice,internet and extracurricular lecture.But recognition degree deficiency,58.77%nursing students selected general understanding on recognition degree of community nursing,only19.07%nursing students can answer this question completely and correctly.Nursing students keep optimistic attitude on prospect of department of community health service in Qinghai province,83.7%nursing students keep optimistic or relative optimistic attitude,51.70%nursing students want to understanding knowledge of community health service.4. Attitude of employment intention of community nursing among investigated nursing students.The most important influence factor on choosing job was parent.93.81%Nursing students like or relatively like to work in community.Students who were not study community nursing and already study community nursing and different educational background of nursing students,the employment intention exist obviously statistical significance (P<0.005), respect-ively.Conclusion:1.By recognition investigation Understanding way of community nursing was widely,but recognition degree was low,nursing student keep relative optimistic attitude and thirst for knowledge community health service.2.The employment intention rate is high. Stude-nts who were not study community nursing and had already studied community nursing and different educational background of nursing students, existing obviously statistical significance (P<0.005)on employment intention,respectively.The main reason were individual development space large, self value realizing.the main reasons which don’t like to work community were low economic income and welfare treatment,small working environment and low technology level,which can’t get high level exercise.3.Suggestions:Nursing students themselves should establish a modern vocational concept combining pursuit realizing self value with contributing to society;Education system reform; system reform;changing of education concept;Extension thinking set of nursing student; Strengthen teachers development;establishment practical training and practice base of commun-ity nursing;Establishment a management system of aiming at community health service person-nels by government.
