Background and ObjectiveLumbar facet joint has very important biomechanical significance, it is associated with intervertebral disc constitute joint complex, and with disc to keep the stability of lumbar spine and activities. Through a large number of neuroimaging data, measurement of lumbar facet joint surface in Henan area reference ranges, as well as lumbar degeneration time-varying reference value, by comparing the two value comparison, clear of lumbar facet joint angle and degenerative change relations, able to predict lumbar retrogression disease development results, in favor of guide to the treatment of diseases.Materials and methodsResearch toolsThe2008annual German Philips Briliance spiral16slice CT, window width2000, Window level350, voltage120kv, current250mA, conventional layer5mm. The bone window down lumbar CT scan. General information2010August to2011April in lumbar spine spiral CT examination of3772cases of lumbar spine examinations, patient, according to CT findings were categorized into6groups. Check the negative group (A group):a total of1382patients,720were male,662female; L4/5intervertebral disc herniation group (B group):a total of662patients,348were male,314female; L5/S1disc herniation group (C group):a total of859patients,419were male, female440cases; L4/5and L5/S1disc herniation group (D group):a total of676patients,361were male,315female,; L4vertebral degenerative spondylolisthesis group (E group):a total of107patients,39were male,68female, vertebral isthmic spondylolisthesis; L5group (F group):a total of86patients,34were male,52female cases.Angle measurement methods Determine the articular surface of inner and outer ends, in the joint surface fault, its front end for A, and another point for the outer ends and B point, connecting the two points and extended into a straight line, on behalf of the articular surface in the general direction, followed by determining vertebral sagittal axis, a disc Regional Center for C, both sides are connected at both sides of lamina, spinous process of the center for the D point, connecting the2points to form the lumbar sagittal axis. Facet joint angle of A.Statistical analysisBy using the SPSS15.0statistical software (SPSS company, Chicago, USA) was used for statistical analysis. Application of t inspection and test comparison among groups of gender, age, L4facet joint angle and L5facet joint angle difference. P<0.05for the difference has statistical significance.ResultsNormal value of L4and L5facet joint angle is respectively43.58°±10.76°and47.23°~50.05°, and95%confidence interval of constant determination is respectively42.20°44.96~and47.23°~50.05°; Compared with other groups, facet joint angle of L4lumbar spondylolisthesis is smaller, and P<0.05.ConclucionsNormal value L4and L5facet joint angle under spiral CT in Central Plains is different from other countries or districts, and reduction of L4facet joint angle is direct relation with spondylolisthesis of L4lumbar vertebra, so Personalized treatment according to facet joint angle should be supplied to patients with low lumbar degeneration diseases.
