Study On The Situation And Factors Of Hypertension And Diabetes Management Of Community Health Centers In Fuzhou

Objective: On the basis of the analysis of the Fuzhou community chronic diseasemanagement, this article combine with the questionnaies and interviews to understandthe community chronic disease management status, identifying the factors that affectthe management of chronic diseases, and from a view of management to put forwardrecommendations to improve the current status.Methods: This study base on the literature research and survey research.Literatureresearch including the relevant documents of hypertension and diabetes managementof national, provincial and municipal and relevant literature in the relevant database;survey research including the questionnaire of hypertension and diabetes patients,non-hypertensive and diabetic residents,, hypertension and diabetes management andthe relevant persons’ individual/group interviews.Results: In taijiang and gulou area of fuzhou, the results Health Management rate ofhypertension and diabetes at84.8%, standardized management rate at16.8%,Standardized management on the low side. In the investigation of patients withhypertension and diabete,67%of them were managed.90.1%management formsare clinic,89.7%are measure the blood pressure/blood glucose.There82.8%patientsexpressed satisfaction with the managing content,82.8%patients expressedsatisfaction with the management effectiveness.Compared to patients withhypertension who be managed and Unmanaged, there were no difference betweendisease-related factors of knowledge and regular medication, but no difference amongmanagement of content knowledge、 blood pressure/blood sugar control andtendentiousness to community health service centre. In the survey, health educationawareness and acceptance rates of residents that not suffering from hypertension and diabetes, only23.8%and11.1%, prevention and health care needs to bestrengthened.Investigation of management staff consists mainly of medicalstaff,College/technical school level60.4%,35.8%management personnel havereceived training; permanent staff19.8%, monthly income￥1001-200098.1%,staffsatisfaction with the workload and remuneration for work only23.6%and16.0%.Conclusions: Fuzhou community hypertension and diabetes management has begunto take the effectiveness. However,the manage overall level is low, the management isless than ideal and the cooperation is not high. Operation level of public healthpolicies related to community health services, the patient’s treatment wishes,satisfaction, level of knowledge and community-based hypertension, diabetesmanagement staff income level and stability of hypertension relevant factors are thequality of diabetes management. Suggest all levels of government and healthadministration departments optimize the evaluation criteria, standardize theevaluation team recommended; community health services strengthen the exchange ofexperiences, improve the management level; community health services staff shouldestablish a sense of service and adjust work mentality, patients and residents changetheir ideas and establish a correct view of health.
