Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasure For The Therapeutic Compliance Of The Elderly Patients With Hypertension In The Community Of Changchun City

Objective: This subject aims to investigate the current situation for the therapeutic compliance of senile hypertension patients in the community of Changchun city, to clear the main factors of affecting the therapeutic compliance of elderly hypertension patients in community,to discuss the ways and means of improving the treatment adherence of old patients with hypertension, to provide targeted and individual reference for care plan with the purpose of improving the life quality for patients.Method: By using the method of random sampling and the General Information Questionnaire , Compliance Scale for Treatment of Hypertension and Attitude and Belief Scale for Treatment of Hypertension, in the form of questionnaire, collect 373 therapeutic compliance data of community's elderly patients with hypertension in Changchun city,arrange and number the data, put the data into the Excel and use SPSS software to statistically analyze the data.Results: The results show that the level of the therapeutic compliance of the elderly patients is on the medium level, the score of the medicine treatment compliance is highest,the score of the daily life management compliance is lowest. The scores of the therapeutic compliance of the elderly patients of different ages,different monthly income, different economic sources,different occupations before retirement,different numbers of hypotensor, different times of hospitalization and different medical sources,which are statistically significant (P<0.05). In the therapeutic attitudes and beliefs of the patients with hypertension,the attitudes and beliefs of taking medicine and therapeutic life styles is better than the attitudes and beliefs of continuous treatment concerns and persistent treatment. The personal basic information which have effects on the therapeutic attitudes and beliefs of the patients with hypertension are monthly income,economic sources, occupations before retirement, times of hospitalization and medical sources. The therapeutic compliance of the elderly patients is related to the therapeutic attitudes and beliefs of the patients with hypertension. The total therapeutic attitudes and beliefs, medical sources, and beliefs of taking medicine, occupations before retirement can positively predict the therapeutic compliance, the therapeutic compliance is negatively predicted by times of hospitalization.Conclusion: The therapeutic compliance of the elderly patients is on the medium level, in the therapeutic attitudes and beliefs of the patients with hypertension, the attitudes and beliefs of continuous treatment concerns and persistent treatment are inferior. There exist correlations between the therapeutic compliance and the total therapeutic attitudes and beliefs. Factors like total therapeutic attitudes and beliefs, medical sources, the therapeutic attitudes and beliefs of taking medicine , job occupations before retirement and times of hospitalization can predict the therapeutic compliance of the elderly patients with hypertension.
