Objective To observe the effect of Ovulation Inducing Soup on the outcome of IVF-ET(In vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer).Method 41patients who were taking IVF-ET treatment were randomly divided into 2 groups. After regular GnRH-a long-protocol down regul-ation,20 cases(20cycles) as testing group were treated with ovulation inducing soup combined with Gn until HCG day,21 cases(21 cycles) as were treated with Gn alone. Observe the reduction of Kidney weakness score after treatment, as well as the difference of clinical outcome between 2 groups. Data of average Gn dosage, average Gn duration, number of oocyte per cycle, number of mature oocyte per cycle, number of fertilized oocyte per cycle, number of normally fertilized oocyte per cycle, number of cleavage embryo per cycle, number of normally cleavage embryo per cycle were recorded and calculated, as well as the mature oocyte rate, normally fertilization rate, normally cleavage rate, excellent embryo rate and clinical pregnancy rate. The difference between 2 groups were compared and analyzed statistically.Results The average Gn dosage and average Gn duration in treatment group were much reduced in testing group, with significant statistic differences. The number of oocyte per cycle, number of mature oocyte per cycle, number of fertilized oocyte per cycle, number of normally fertilized oocyte per cycle, number of cleavage embryo per cycle, number of normally cleavage embryo per cycle were higher in testing group with significant statistic differences. The mature oocyte rate, formally fertilization rate, normally cleavage rate, excellent embryo rate and clinical pregnancy rate were also higher in testing group, but there were no significant statistic differences.Conclusion Ovulation inducing soup can cooperate with Gn in COH of IVE-ET, to elevate the clinical pregnancy rate. The effective mechanism might be due to its function of optimize the oocyte quality and improve the reproductive endocrine environment.
