All living plants of the nature are subject to the Earth’s electric field. The electric field is one of the physical factors to influence plant growth and development in the environment, the electric field change of the environmental, will inevitably have some impact on plants. It has been applied to the study of plants because of Electric field technology’s non-residual, non-polluting, non-toxic side effects. Nature of precipitation timing and intensity of intermittent and uncertainties, which greatly limit the plant’s own genetic development and the diversity. Caragana has a significant windbreak and sand, to maintain the role of soil and water, and soil improvement. How to improve the survival rate of Caragana seed vigor and seedling development has a very important theoretical and practical significance in ecological protection of the arid and semi arid areas of agriculture and animal husbandry.In this paper, the influence of the seed germination and seedling in drought resistance were measured with the electric field treatment on Caragana seeds. The experimental results show that:in non-drought conditions, the appropriate electric field treatment on Caragana seeds to improve the uniformity of seed germination and seed vigor, and the optimal electric field processing conditions from high frequency to low frequency changes. Caragana seeds germination has a non-linear relationship (shock change) with frequency (field strength) in a certain time and the electric field strength (frequency). The effect of frequency have obvious impact than the interaction effect of the frequency and electric field strength on seed germination of Caragana, the interaction effect of the frequency and electric field strength have a obvious impact than the effect of the electric field strength on the Caragana seeds germination effect in the different electric field factor.Under drought stress, electric field treatment on Caragana seeds has more obvious impact on drought resistance in germination stage than the seedling stag. It is significantly improve the uniformity of seed gennination and seed vigor with the appropriate electric field. Especially, the electric field strength was3kV/cm, the frequency of10kHz and the electric field treatment time was10min have produce a more significant impact to improve the Caragana seed vigor, seed survival rate and drought resistance in the field strength of1.0-4.OkV/cm, the electric field frequency of8.0-17kHz, and the processing time was5,10、15min conditions. The experimental results have an important Significance of practical and applied about study of grass seed Drought resistance in arid and semi-arid areas, the ecological conservation of grasslands and the electric technology development and utilization.
