Research On The Schedule Management Of CP Machining Line Construction Project

Project management, as a science, its application in real world is wider andwider. The application of project progress management is used more and more oftenin all kinds of projects. But in China, as the study began late, there is still a certaingap to the international level. Therefore, we need to combine the actual work andtheory together and summary the experiences and method of project management.Project management includes the project progress management, project qualitymanagement, project scope management, and cost management, etc. the progressmanagement is the most important part of all. So far, there was not a sophisticated pushing waysand method of progress management in mechanical industry, especially in building ofproduction line. In order to prove the feasibility of the progress management duringbuilding of the production line, and analyze the result of using this method, this essaystates the application of progress management on production line and the advantageof using this management, combining the experiences of building of machining linein company of CP.By presenting the background and planing of development of CP and thebuilding of the machining line of CP, and combining the compare of managingmethod of other Engine companies and the requirement and resource of themachining line of CP, this essay states the feasibility of applying the progressmanagement in machining line and summaries the advantage and disadvantage ofusing this method. As result, the CP chose to use the method: leading by theconstruction communities and process department, applying by the project managerand assisting by the other departments.Aims at the reality of building of the machining line, and presenting the project management theories and methods, and stating the real case, this essay will provehow the project management works in building of machining line in CP and how toimprove the efficiency, simplify the management level and lower the cost, and themost important: how to manage the project and lead to the result.
