Recently,with significant development of the economy,urban traffic in China has been experiencing constant changes-from the previous central ring network to the surrounding areas of the city.Especially,with the vigorous promotion of eco-friendly travel,the original public transport in many cities cannot meet needs of citizens anymore,which has also enhanced the development of urban rail transit continuously.In terms of the mechanical development,there are still several shortcomings.This makes the rational and effective management of rail transit projects a top priority for cities.Taking city A-whose city rail transit system is operated and managed by the city subway company-as an example.In2015,City A became the 22 nd city in China to operate subways,and it was also the first city in S Province having a subway.Today,there are four subway lines in operation in City A,which transfer within the north-south and east-west directions of city A.However,the existing subway lines are unable to meet the increasing demand of citizens.Therefore,City A has begun to design and construct seven more lines,namely line 1,2,4,6,7,8 and Line 13.After all these lines are completed and put into use,there will be new opportunities for city A to gain further development and construction.In this thesis,we will go through the case of X station project of Metro Line 8 in city A,especially the project's schedule management.We will then work on the problems found in the research process,propose a schedule,and develop completed safeguard measures to ensure the scientific validity of the project schedule.First of all,we talk about the project schedule management from a theoretical perspective,introduce the domestic as well as international relevant literature and theories,analyze the importance of project schedule management in practical situations,and then provide a theoretical basis for the research of this article.Secondly,we discuss the contents and characteristics of the X station project of Line 8,and the problems existing in the project schedule management.These problems are presented in the form of data,which provide a certain statistical basis for the research in this paper.Finally,we adopt the project schedule method,use WBS to decompose the project process into different tasks,determine the logical relations between the different projects and the length of time required for the task,and then use the network plan chart to makethe project's progress according to the task,and then optimize the initial plan based on the results.At the same time,we develop specific plans to control the progress of the project,track and check the real project situation to ensure the project being carried out under our plan.This thesis considers the characteristics of the subway project,finds out the factors that affect its progress in combination with previous construction experiences and theoretical basis,explains the issue of the schedule management work during the project and the optimization of the project schedule.To solve the problems and difficulties found in this process,we propose effective solutions and safeguards methods,which provide some experiences for subway construction from other cities in China.
