Research And Application Of Technical Management Information System In Small And Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprise

The society enter a new era of knowledge economy going with rapid development of information technology and that provides a more shortcut and accurate, efficient management methods for small and medium-sized enterprises in technical management. This paper is to study the problem how to improve enterprise’s technical management level by the hardware and software integration of information technology.Through traditional new product development model there are many problems in the management of technology in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, such as the communication and coordination are poor between different departments and personnel, and the existing technical documents lack the unity and effective management, and the technical documents change is not seasonable, incomplete, change history ultimately elusive, and the coordination is difficult among the different professional field in the design department, and the technical data of existing product lack the unified management, and the product material data lack integrated management, and the product configuration is incompetence.The paper put forward the PDM management system based on computer information integration technology and the above problems. The PDM system has many functions, such as the product’s structure management, technical documentation’s change management, the product’s configuration management, projects and workflow management, security and data backup management, material reports and data integration management, products or components of BOM (material list) and the product configuration correlation. The PDM system can effectively solve the existing technical management problems in current discreteness manufacturing enterprise.The information safety management of new products study is more important after the product data information high integration. The files are non-marked encrypted within the whole life cycle of technical documents, and this does not affect operators’using habit. If the files are leaved off the enterprise network environment, they are unable to open. The practice showed, it is efficiency that the file security system is installed inside the enterprise local area network.
