Abstract/Summary:
As the subject of the study on the design of Chongqing Port great water fluctuationdeepwater wharf, which is the major scientific and technological special transportationinfrastructure of Chongqing “Eleventh Five-Year”,based on practical engineering aboutNaxigou terminals and orchards two terminals The specific work this article has doneare follows:①Analysis about hydrological changes before and after the Three GorgesReservoir found that the traditional pier structure were more difficult to apply tohydrological changes and the pier building need to determine the construction waterlevel correctly after the completion.②Water level after the completion makes the water level substantially raised whenconstruct the traditional overhead vertical pier. This condition on the one hand makesthe construction water level set too high, increasing the pier cost; on the other hand,extent the pier construction period. In order to adapt to water level, this paper presentspier beam slab terminal and terminals with steel components.③In connection with the great diurnal water level range and deep water ofquay,two berthing facilities which can automatically adapt to water level changes areanalyzed-floating mooring berthing facilities and electromagnetic automatic berthingdevice. Analysis showed that these two berthing facilities automatically with the waterlevel. They can be better to solve the defect that traditional level difference terminalstratified mooring device have. But whether they can be used in the Three GorgesReservoir (the water level difference more than30m), further study and verification areneeded.④In connection with the phenomenon that Suspended Vertical have large requireabout berthing structure and pier overall rigidity, berthing row pier was proposed. It canalso solve the shortcoming that the bent spacing is difficult to become greater. Theanalysis showed that with berthing row pier, the ship load was mainly on pier, so it wasConducive to increase pier bent spacing, thereby reducing the underwater workload andshorten the pier construction period.⑤According to the characteristics of the entity pier and overhead pier, combiningthe actual project-Chongqing Naxigou terminal, two types of overhead piers wereproposed. The analysis showed that though the mechanical properties of the overhead pier was not the same as entities pier, its construction materials is province, constructiontime is short and construction is facilitate to the direction of diversification. So, theoverhead pier has certain application prospects in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.
