In this paper,designed a circulating cooling water system for the thermal powerplant,used the BP neural network algorithm, solved the problem that used the testmethod to calculate the concentrate rate in the thermal power plant,such as theexperiment lasted long, the single calculated parameters selection,the processcondition is hard to control etc.The paper based on the analysis of the system functional requirements and masstest data,to built the integration and optimization models about the water supplement,thepollutant discharge amount,and the drug processing cost.Designed and implemented acirculating cooling water processing system. used the object-oriented modelingtechnology, then analysed the system architecture,at last designed and implemented themodules of soft instrument,water quality monitoring,water quality calculation and waterbalance. Developed the software with the main function of water qualitycalculation,water quality monitoring,water quality data records management, watertreatment field decision and implementation in this paper. In addition used Matlabneural network tool box to model and simulate the relationship between the optimalconcentration ratio and the water quality key parameters. The result shows that thefeasibility and the validity of the circulating cooling water processing system met thedesign requirements.
