Land test bed cooling water circulation system is one of the most important auxiliary systems to maintain the normal operation of diesel engine. If Diesel engine has cooling problems, that will cause the air-fuel ratio imbalance, oil deterioration, piston locking etc. If the diesel engine is too cold, the thermal efficiency will be decreased, and will increase CO and HC emissions of crude. We need to give full play to the performance of the cooling water system for land use to fully improve the running state of the cooling water system of the diesel engine test bed, and optimize its working performance. At the same time, to reduce debugging cost and improve the economy diesel engine cooling water system and cut the running and maintenance cost we need to deeply research on the system to economize energy sources and optimize the design.This paper takes Shanghai Hudong Co., diesel engine test bench cooling water circulation system as the research object. Introduce the land use structure characteristic and operation mode of the cooling water system in detail, and optimizing the design of the system, and researching the temperature control and in-depth study of the energy utilization. The specific contents include: based on the theory of fluid mechanicse getting hydraulic mathematical model of cooling water system for land use by the systematic analysis of pipeline and equipments. Combined with the actual hydraulic data and put forward a new kind of energy saving optimization scheme. So that create the simulation model of incompressible fluid with Fathom 8 testing the applicability and rationality of energy saving by analyzing the difference of operating conditions of centrifugal pump under different pipeline characteristics to verify the applicability and reasonableness of the Parallel characteristics of the centrifugal pump group and energy saving optimization scheme of the system.Meanwhile, in order to make the cooling water temperature control can achieve the ideal effect, based on the theory of thermodynamics, we analyzed thermodynamic system, built the dynamic thermal model of the system and established the simulation, finally, got the simulation model of cylinder cooling water system. With the correctness of the simulation curve and data also based on the PID controller simulation model by the critical proportion degree method to set the parameters of the controller model, achieve the temperature control and deviation adjustment. Finally, based on the principle of water temperature control we built the "Internal switching type" low temperature water system and added low warm water PID temperature control technology. We use the GSCU control system to switch the low temperature cooling pattern in real time to satisfy the request of ?one test bed with multiple engines?. Besides, when switch to the internal cooling water system test, we put forward a new mode of operation of water, and simulate the experiment with Fathom 8.
